A guide to the admin steps for players transferring from other clubs, adults playing for the first time, and juniors stepping up to the adult game

1. Join the Club

Sign up via the “Join Us” links on the website
Download the Teamo app (essential for receiving match notifications)
Set up your payment method and pay membership fees
Attend an appropriate training session based on experience, with ongoing assessments during training and games

2. Get Your Kit

3. Register with England Hockey (or see step 4 if already registered)

Players must be registered with England Hockey (EH), the national governing body to be eligible for league games.

a. Visit the GMS website. Start registration: Select the option to register or create a new account

c. Create your profile: Enter personal details and select Corsham Hockey Club

d. Complete required information: Enter the verification code (sent via email) and fill in all fields

e. Await club approval: Club admin must approve your registration before you appear on match sheets

f. Link to your club: Once approved, link yourself to Corsham Hockey Club

g. Juniors (Under 18s): A parent or guardian must register an account and add the junior’s details to their profile

4. Steps to Request a Club Transfer if Already Registered

a. Log in to the England Hockey GMS portal. Go to the My Clubs section on your homepage

c. Click Request to Join New Club

d. Select Corsham Hockey Club

e. Provide a reason for your transfer request

f. Await approval: Both your current club and Corsham will receive notifications

g. Transfer confirmation: The transfer is complete once both clubs approve it
